The artist says:
Lift Your Head drifts between embrace and rebellion — a body gathered inward, yet reaching beyond itself.

Like a hymn to stillness after the storm, it carries the weight of both blood and bloom, fracture and healing.

Drapes, garments, their textures and colours dissolve into a language of strength and fragility, symbols of the constant war waged by social norms upon the female body.

As a self-portrait, it rises with pride, becoming both sanctuary and defiance, a testament to the artist’s cyclical being — quiet and loud, ebbing and surging, like the sea folding itself back into the shore.
